Here is a banner I made for a friend. The theme is pink elephants. With a 6 month old, I have very little time at my paper crafting table so I needed to do something simple. This isn't as simple as I planned but I was able to finish it in time. I used the New Arrival cart for my Cricut.

Mojo 175 and Valentine's
After months of having my scrapbook things packed I now have a scrap room again. And I even managed to feel well enough and have the energy to work on a project tonight. Woo Hoo! I decided to use the current Mojo Monday sketch and make a Valentine's card for my husband. I'm happy with how it turned out!

Mojo 146
The sketch:

All the paper's and the ribbon is from Stampin' Up. The flower stamp is from the Stampin' Up set Happy Moments (it was in this year's Sale-A-bration catalog.) The sentiment is a CTMH stamp.
Again, all Stampin' Up papers and ribbon. The flower stamp is from their Eastern Blooms set. The sentiment is CTMH.

Mojo 143 and other cards
I'm in the middle of a few hours of scrapping time. Woo Hoo. I am so slow! In 4 hours I have made 3 cards and scrapped one scrapbook LO-a single paged layout. The LO isn't even worthy of posting but here are three of my cards. The first is from Mojo Monday. The apple stamp is from Stampin Up and the paper is DCWV Sweet Stack.

Another Mojo Monday Sketch
I found a few minutes to scrapbook tonight and decided to try this week's Mojo Monday. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The stamp is from the Stampin Up Tart and Tangy set. The Happy Birthday is a clear stamp from a set I have-don't know what company. The cherry paper is DCWV Sweet Stack.

A couple more cards
Here a couple more cards I made from sketches I found on the internet. The first one is from page maps. (If the link doesn't work, it's the page maps website, the May 2010 card sketches.)

I know I used a sketch for this one, but I honestly can't remember where I got it from.

From Mojo Monday
I love perusing the Mojo Monday blog. There are so many cute cards on it! I don't often actually follow a sketch but last week I came across this sketch and decided to try it.

The stamp is Stampendous H197 Snail Fluffles. The patterned papers are from the DCWV Flower Shower spring stack.

Europe Album
I have been working on my album from our trip to Europe last summer. I am about half way done. By the time I'm finished, I will not want to look through the album anymore because I'll be sick of it. I went through the pictures while we were on our trip, then again when we came home. Then I went through them again-twice for each day-to pick out the ones I wanted for the album. I only have three days of pictures left to go through and print out. Everything else is printed. I'll start posting some of the layout's I'm doing for this album.
To make it simple, I chose a paper stack from K and Co.and purchased 5 or 6 of the pads. Between the sales and using coupons, I was able to stay within a reasonable price for the paper. Then I purchased some of the matching embellishments for this stack. I used the Happy Trails specialty paper stack. Click here for a picture of the paper stack I used.
By using the same papers and embellishments, I am able to streamline the album and save some time. Of course, it still takes me forever because I have to figure out the layouts for everything. Since I blogged the whole trip on my personal blog, and I'm just revising what I wrote and printing it out. I've set up the album so that each day has a minimum of a 2 page LO. Some days have 4 or 6 pages. It will be a thick album by the time I'm done.
Ok, I have only one layout on my computer so here it is. I'll share more as I take more pictures.

Christmas countdown calendar
Two years ago (or maybe it was last year-I have a terrible memory for this kind of thing) I participated in a Christmas countdown calendar swap on the Cricut messageboards. 25 of us each got one number, made 25 of the same thing and ended up with 25 pieces for a calendar. I can't find the original thread on the message boards because it is too old.
I love our calendar and wanted to do one on my own. Who to give it to? I wanted it to go to someone I know would appreciate it. Now, I don't need accolades for my work but when I work on something this time consuming, I want to know the recipient isn't going to just toss it out next year. I gave this calendar to Ellie and Angel today.
Many of the pieces were directly inspired or copied from our own calendar so I will not say every piece is my own idea. I took pictures of a couple of my favorite pieces too.
I would love to make more of these. I love doing Christmas themes! So fun.
